Fempocalypse 2021

Badass Babes. Boss Bitches. Queens. Incredibly Intelligent, Powerful and Talented Women of All Ages. We're celebrating you all. Fempocalyse is back!

Fempocalypse returns to celebrate female-led everything. Head down to the Wayward Taproom on Saturday, March 13 for an all-day festival that champions the mega talent of Sydney's female musicians, artists, chefs and brewers — and women everywhere.

To set the scene, Wayward has teamed up with the legendary party starters over at Canned Fruit to put on an all-female lineup of DJs. In between sets, a curated playlist of badass femme artists will be playing through the speakers, too.

While the DJs keep the tunes spinning, Sydney artist and illustrator Pep will create live art in the laneway. This bespoke piece will be auctioned off on the day, with proceeds going toward Women in Hospitality — a not-for-profit organisation that supports and fosters career development of women in the hospitality industry.

For eats,Vege4Love owner Sharon will be serving up Asian-fusion from her food truck out front. She focuses on authentic Malaysian and Chinese dishes, and her Fempocalypse menu will include vego Curry Puffs and Mie Goreng.

And, of course, there'll be beers aplenty. Headlining the beer taps is a special release by Wayward's new Apprentice Brewer Emma Elmslie. She's working on a surprise beer for the day, and all we can say is that it's going to be damn tasty.

The rest of the Wayward taps will be filled with exclusive beers brewed by women, including a special Women of Wayward beer (separate from Emma's brew), which will be a collab between all of the boss women working at the Camperdown brewery.

Other breweries on the tap list include our mates at:
