Amp up your gravy game with a little of our Red IPA. Our mates at Smoking Coals Barbecue have perfected this tasty jus, perfect for drizzling or dipping.


  • 1 cup Wayward Red IPA

  • 2 cups unsalted Beef Stock

  • 2 Bay leaves

  • 2 Rosemary Sprigs

  • 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt

  • 1 1/2 tsp Fresh Cracked Pepper

  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder

  • 1 Garlic Clove, sliced in half

  • 5 tbsp Honey


  • Add the Red IPA, 1 cup beef stock, bay leaves, rosemary, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper and the onion powder to a pot, and bring to boil.

  • Once boiled, lower heat to simmer and reduce. 

  • Once reduced, add 4 tbsp of the Honey, the garlic clove and 1/2 cup unsalted Beef Stock into pot, allow to boil again.

  • Lower heat to simmer, and reduce again. 

  • Once reduced, add the remaining honey, salt, pepper and beef stock into pot, allow to boil again, Lower heat to simmer reduce a final time until reaching desired consistency. 

Remove from heat and serve immediately as a side or drizzled over dish.
